The Lennox-Boyds

We met the family in 2015, notably Simon and Lady Alice. They have designed (since 1964) a shell house and arbour in the grounds of Ince Castle at Saltash. Arabella has produced a ‘red book’ catalogue detailing the scientific name and origin of each shell ( the great majority exotics) used in a world-wide collection. The displays, expertly embedded as designs in panels, include lit windows, an ostrich egg and green chrysocolla. The property was sold in 2019.
