St Brelade's Church and Fishermen's Chapel, Jersey overlook the sea. 
The 12th century wall paintings in the monastic chapel use the shell motif to frame the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary

The Little Chapel is a miniature replica of the grotto and Basilica at Lourdes designed by Brother Deodat. The shell decorator uses many local ormer shells and pottery in its mosaics.
