Lynn Humphries
Based in Somerset, Lynn led a small team to renovate a thatched shell house on the (demolished) Jordan’s Manor estate at Ashill, Ilminster 2017-18. The delightful 1838 property was created by traveller/naturalist John Speke. The back wall has complex shell patterning and there is an antique lantern and weathervane above. The two alcoves have bird-bath features embedded within by the explorer. Lynn was at our West Country lecture at Dillington House.
